Siberian Husky is a primitive ancient breed of dogs, mainly living in northeastern Siberia and southern Greenland. The Husky name is derived from its unique hoarse cry. Husky's personality is changeable, some are extremely timid, and some are extremely violent. Husky, who has entered the human society and family, has no such extreme personality.

Features

Husky is energetic and agile. They usually have thick double fur, which can be gray, black, patina or white. Their eyes are usually light blue, but may also be brown, green, blue, yellow, or heterochromatic. Husky is more susceptible to uveitis than most other dog breeds.

Variety

Dogs such as the Husky are originally local breeds raised by Arctic indigenous peoples. These modern local breeds have been selectively bred and registered in various kennels, such as modern purebred dog breeds, including Siberian Husky and Husky Labrador. Sakhalin sleds are related to Japanese Spitz and Akita dogs. The Mackenzie Husky is a different subspecies that lives in the Arctic and subarctic regions of Alaska and Canada.
